Leatherwork

I’ve been doing amateur leatherwork as a hobby for a few years now. I enjoy having a hobbby with no screens, as it lets me disconnect from time to time. I set myself some rules for this hobby: No power tools, no shortcuts, and no batch making. Everything I’ve made so far has been entirely hand sewn.

Some of the projects I’ve enjoyed the most have been for friends’ cosplay outfits, such as this set of holsters for my friend’s manadlorian armor set:

I designed and then machined my own logo stamp for Hickman Leatherworks, to give my projects that little bit of professional flair.

I’ve made non cosplay items as well, like a really nice tote bag that I still use weekly for groceries:
